Martial Arts Training in the usa began to develop strength by the late 60's and excelled in 1970's. Professionals like Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris and David Prue forged the structure of martial arts in United States. These people were amongst the earliest to open martial arts training schools within United States Of America. Just like Prue, Norris worked in the United States Airforce. During this time period, the two Norris and Prue were introduced to and fell in love with fighting techinques. They were each so captivated they seen that karate would be a big part of their lifestyles. They were in awe from seeing what these Asian guys could execute. They never witnessed such tactics and realized they wished to learn about them. Norris & Lee went to California to get started on their fighting techniques faculties while David Prue moved to the Midwest.

David Prue and Chuck Norris connected with each other in '68 at one Jhoon Rhee's first competitions in Washington D.C.. David Prue came using 8mm camera to scout east coast fighters. Chuck Norris executed a demonstration fight with no doubt one of America's leading fighters right at that moment. According to Prue, Norris seemed to be far superior. One more reason for Prue's visit to Jhoon Rhee's event was to execute a meeting of America's major Tang Soo do leaders. Chuck Norris attended Prue's meeting and from that point the two of them became lifelong friends.

Prue met Lee at the business office of Black Belt Magazine. Durring this visit, David Prue was exposed to a fantastic Lee technique. Lee would position his forward fighting hand next to his opponent's front fist. Bruce Lee would pre warn he would carry out a back hand hit to the forehead.
